Not a race, but a challenging ride at your own pace. Year 17 of this event will give you plenty of ups and downs with over 7000ft of beautiful Shropshire hills, secret lanes and valleys along some the county’s most empty roads.
Make it a weekend if you wish in Ludlow town. Excellent secluded camping and caravan facilities at event H.Q. below the castle.

Thank you to all for riding our event this year, 08, and for your many fine comments about your day. I think we are quite safe in in saying the event, with a record entry, was a great day for us all.
Now for 2009. the date will be Sun. 21st June. A 72 mile glorious ride with views to die for (You may come close to it to attain them) as there will be the odd climb or two!
Catering at the start. Due to the fact that the Rugby Club caterers were totally overwhelmed by the unexpected demand a new formula is being drawn up for 09. watch this space.
